A celebrated soprano from Orange County, Janine Lutfi has distinguished herself through award-winning performances and acclaimed roles. She is the First Place Winner for Best Mozart Performance in the internationally recognized 2023 Great Composers Competition, the Second Place Winner of the Fullerton College Vocal Competition, and a Silver Medalist in the SCVA Vocal Competition. These honors underscore her exceptional artistry and technical mastery.
Janine’s talent has also earned her critical recognition in musical theatre, with nominations for Best Female Vocalist and Best Actress in the Orange County CAPPIE Awards, as well as a Best Actress nomination in the 2017 Spirit of The MACY Awards for her role as “Kate” in Kiss Me Kate at Fullerton Union High School.

Her diverse opera repertoire includes standout performances such as “La Fée” in Massenet’s Cendrillon, “Biancofiore” in Francesca di Rimini, and “Maria” in Maria de Buenos Aires, showcasing her versatility and passion for dramatic expression. A graduate of Chapman University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Janine continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic voice and commanding stage presence.
